Discover the delightful Blueberry Tiramisu, a perfect blend of creamy mascarpone, juicy blueberries, and crunchy ladyfingers. This easy dessert cup recipe is ideal for any occasion, offering a refreshing twist on a classic favorite.

Ingredients (10)

1 package (about 20) ladyfinger

2 cups fresh or frozen blueberries

2 cups mascarpone cheese (approximately 1 pound)

1.5 cups heavy cream

1 cup granulated sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1.5 cups blueberry jam

Zest of 1 lemon

2 tablespoons lemon juice (approximately 1/8 cup)

1/4 to 1/3 cup Prosecco (optional)

Steps (6)

1

Prepare the Blueberry Mixture: In a bowl, combine the blueberry jam, lemon zest, lemon juice, and Prosecco (if using). Mix well until the ingredients are fully incorporated.

2

Whip the Cream: In a large mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form. Gradually add the granulated sugar and vanilla extract, continuing to whip until the mixture is well combined and smooth.

3

Combine with Mascarpone: Gently fold the mascarpone cheese into the whipped cream mixture until it is smooth and creamy. Be careful not to overmix to maintain the light texture.

4

Layer the Tiramisu: Spread a spoonful of the mascarpone mixture on the bottom of your serving cups. Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the blueberry mixture (don’t soak too long) and place them in a single layer over the mascarpone mixture.

5

Add Layers: Spread another layer of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers. Sprinkle a handful of fresh blueberries over the mascarpone layer. Repeat the layering process (ladyfingers, mascarpone mixture, fresh blueberries) until you reach the top of the cups.

6

Chill: Cover the cups with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 3 hours, preferably overnight, to allow the flavors to meld and the dessert to set.

Additional tips

  • Use Fresh Ingredients: For the best flavor, use fresh blueberries and high-quality mascarpone cheese.
  • Adjust Sweetness: Taste the blueberry mixture before assembling the tiramisu. If it’s too tart, add a bit more sugar to balance the flavors.
  • Presentation: Garnish the top of each cup with a few fresh blueberries and a sprinkle of lemon zest just before serving for an elegant touch.
  • To make more: double the ingredients.
